Te Atatū indie-rock band – Originals. Covers. Energy!

Sidetracked is an indie-rock / alt-rock band from Te Atatū, Auckland, made up of five musicians who first met at Te Atatū Intermediate. Now we’re in our final years of high school, juggling assignments, gigs, and the occasional existential crisis about tuning guitars.

Our sound blends guitars, bass, drums and keys with an energetic style. The band was formed, nurtured and supported by Tatmuze legends John Kennedy and Izak Kennedy. We play originals and covers, and we’re coached by the awesome team at Lila School of Bands.
