August kicked off with an epic night at Big Fan, where we were lucky enough to join Crying Ivy, The Threads, and Catch 22 for the Crying Ivy & Friends show. The lineup brought together four young Auckland bands, each with their own sound, making for a night packed with great music and good vibes. 

It was awesome to catch the other bands’ sets, hang out backstage, and play to a crowd that was there to support original local music. Big Fan is quickly becoming one of our favourite venues, and playing alongside such talented musicians made the night even better.

A huge thanks to Crying Ivy for putting the show together, The Threads and Catch 22 for sharing the stage, and everyone who came along to support us and the wider all-ages music scene.
