After their success at the Smokefree Rockquest National Finals, Sidetracked began preparing for another highlight of their year: opening for Coast Arcade alongside Crying Ivy and Arsenic. Fresh from their first arena tour supporting rock legends Bush and Shinedown, Coast Arcade hosted an all-ages gig at Big Fan, giving their younger fans a rare opportunity to see them perform live. Sharing the stage with one of New Zealandโ€™s most exciting indie acts was a significant milestone for Sidetracked, who draw inspiration from Coast Arcadeโ€™s distinctive sound. Performing alongside one of their biggest influences was a career highlight for the band, made even more memorable when Ruby was invited on stage to sing with Coast Arcade. Sidetracked are now looking forward to opening for Wellington band, Juna, on December 12th 2026.ย
