On Sunday the 19th of April, Sidetracked opened the main stage for Morningside Mixtape. Morningside Mixtape is a mini festival organised by the Albert-Eden local board in Morningside. This was such an awesome opportunity for us, being one of the first industry gigs we had landed. We were lucky enough to win this opportunity by submitting a video on instagram about why we would be the best band to perform. It was super exciting to be playing on the same lineup as Where’s Jai, There’s a Tuesday, Sam Cullen, Emerson, Back to the Hillside, Mikeyy,The Boondocks and Sancy Prabhakar. Although there was some heavy rain during Emerson’s set, the sun came through for the rest of the event and it was super fun. We would love to be part of this again!
